The Casa Catinella Basket Bag in Tan is a beautifully handwoven piece crafted by skilled artisans in Bolgatanga, northern Ghana. Made from elephant grass — a 100% sustainable natural material harvested from the low-lying flood plains — each bag is a unique work of art that supports a hereditary craft tradition passed down through generations.

Each bag takes between 3 days and one week to make, depending on size and intricacy. No two baskets are exactly alike.
